I don't know if you have seen Bama's schedule for 2009 but it sets up perfectly for an undefeated run. I see a matchup of undefeateds for the 1st time in the SEC Title Game with Florida taking it all. Auburn brutal road schedule-7-5-and that's only if things wotk out just right.

I think UGA might be the most dissapointing team in the SEC this year. They should rename the award for Georgia. I agree by the way. Everyone is pumping up Ole Miss & I want to go against them but they have a GREAT schedule & lots of good talent back. Plus, though the media here won't admit it, Houston Nutt can coach.

So, which conference game will the $EC have to count on USC tanking this year?

So, which conference game will the $EC have to count on USC tanking this year? Florida-USC in the Nat'l Title Game! What a game that would be. Athletes all over the field. We NEED that game as college football fans.

I would very surprised to see Alabama and Florida both go undefeated in the regular season. While the schedules may be setup for it, it is very hard to maintain that intensity for the second year in a row. I know Florida did not go undefeated last year, but they did win it all and they will have a larger than normal target on their backs this year. I do agree that it will be Alabama and Florida back in the championship game but I don't think the outcome will be the same. I can't see Saban letting that happen again.
It'll take some very lucky breaks for Auburn to go 7-5 this year. Chizik just does not ooze that kind of confidence to me. I would love to see them 7-5 (or better) because it's good for the Iron Bowl. I was really hoping Auburn would land a proven coach (or better yet, keep Tubberville). Just imagine an Iron Bowl with two undefeated teams followed up with the SEC championship game and two more undefeateds. It could have happened with the right coaches in place.

While the schedules may be setup for it, it is very hard to maintain that intensity for the second year in a row. I agree... although I don't think it'll be an issue of intensity, per se (regarding Bama.) I think the unanswered questions of a young offensive line with a relatively untested QB makes me worry. there are BIG holes to fill with Smith, Caldwell, and Davis gone. if they can't move the ball like they did last year, Bama's gonna have to rely on the defense to keep them in games, much like Auburn the past few years. apparently the receiving core will be less one-dimensional, like last year, but it'll be interesting to see how well they gel as a whole offensive unit. if things don't click like they did last season, Va Tech will give them fits, as well as Ole Miss & LSU, within the conference. Miss. State will be interesting to watch this year, as well. not sure if they'll be a factor in any sense of the word, but new blood sometimes breeds positive results. either way... I'll be biting my nails every single game with nervous anticipation.

oh also- Alabama will be put through an all-SEC 8-game gauntlet midway through the season with their bye after Tennessee. it'll be a miracle if they make it through without any major injuries after that run. yikes!

What ignorant Bamar drivel! Undefeated ... undefeated ... ? Josh is this another feeble attempt to a$$ kiss your way into a job on air? I know that kissing Saban's a$$ is a prerequisite to working in the Bham media but NO one with any real sense thinks that a team with NO experienced QB can go undefeated in the SEC. By the way ... the inexperienced QB is also going to be playing with an inexperienced LT and NO proven RB.
No go wash the taste of Nikki's a$$ from your mouth and get back to fetching snacks and cigarettes for the hosts! Get back to kissing Leah's a$$ like a good boy!

Bama gets hammered by the NCAA for the textbook scandal. Jimmy Johns must be ready to speak out. Saban is obviously leaving for Notre Dame, and Joey Jones is scheduled to be announced as the next Bear. With all this going on, this is all you have for us Bamarman??? I'm so disappointed. You're not the man (<-- , I've seen the picture) I thought you were.

The top JUCO LT in the country for 2008 is now the starting LT, thats inexperienced? RB Mark Ingram as a freshman set the alabama single season freshman record for TD's with 12 and rushed for 5.1 yards a carry, tha is inexperienced? You really are as retarded as you look in that picture.

No need to kiss ass as facts are facts, they are stubborn things. I think UF, Oklahoma & USC are going to be good as well so am I kissing Urban Meyer, Bob Stoops & Pete Carroll's asses as well?
The NCAA didn't hammer Bama. They got exactly what they should have gotten. Vacate wins & a fine. BFD!
Other than the opener against VT what game could Bama lose? They'll be favored in every game except MAYBE at Ole Miss which hurts my brain just to say.
BTW, Bo what was with your grandpa shooting those people in Washington, D.C. yesterday?
